The Vall de Pop
In this valley pure nature can be experienced. This is where Moscatel grapes, oranges and almonds are planted. You can also find spruce, stone oak, healing and spice plants as well as rosemary and thyme.
The Tossalet
Tossalet is located not far away from the village centre. Here there are lovely panoramic views over the community and its environment.
The surrounding mountains
Apart from the valley, where the town is located, the area is generally quite mountainous. In this region the Sierra de Bernia (1128m), the Penyo de la Mica (506m), la Sierra del Forner (889m) and the Castellet (608m) are remarkable. Once you have reached their top it is possible to see as far as Ibiza on a clear day.
Bassa dels Arcs
These unique constructed vaults lie in the vicinity of Lliber close to the river in Jalon. Scientists are not sure until this day why these vaults have been built.
Adjoining villages/ Towns
From the wonderful location of Jalon, it is possible to visit many towns and villages in a day. For example: Orba, Benissa and Lliber, but also the large tourist towns of Calpe, Denia, Javea and Moraira. For the more adventurous the major cities of Valencia and Alicante are about an hour's distance. Benidorm with its Theme Parks and night life is only about 30 minutes away.
To the Orba valley
Little villages like Tormos, Rafol and Benidoleig with only 200 to 500 inhabitants surround the Orba valley and in the spring the perfume of orange blossom is all around.
